Nightclub Security Bouncer Certification Course Training – 2

The Client Can Sometimes Hurt Your Career

In June 2012, Drake & Chris Brown got into a fight with each other in a Manhattan nightclub. During the fight, each of them reportedly ordered their security teams to join in and a huge incident occurred.  Many uninvolved patrons were injured including NBA All-Star Tony Parker.

Now lawsuits are flying around… with 7 figure damages being sought.

Many bodyguards in the industry get their jobs because they’re big, pretty tough and friends of the entertainer.  Many have never been trained.

Nightclub security and VIP protection isn’t a joke.  This isn’t a well paid gang-banger profession.  Don’t get involved with clients who will create problems for you… and potentially get you sued.

Here’s a link to a news article about the Drake – Chris Brown Fight:

Executive Protection Certification – Bodyguard Course – Online # 3

An important reminder for graduates of our courses focuses on RE-READING.

Every other month or so, re-read your course manual.  This practice will instill one of the best habits for your professional career.  Reading things over and over will allow you to discover things you may have missed previously or will help you to refocus.

Also - within the manual are references to a few other Executive Protection authors & books.  Go buy and READ those books.  That is imperative to you become more professional than your competition.

Read an hour each day in your profession if you want to DOMINATE your market and keep improving.

Until next time,

Night Club Security Bouncer Certification Course - 1

This week we noticed a few more liability cases in the news that really stung the night club security reputation.

Whenever I see this, I try to find the cause or causes. In the articles I read this past week… it appeared that lack of training was the issue.

If you’re in the profession, educate yourself! If you’re a club owner, educate your staff and pay them well. It’s not an expense… it’s an INVESTMENT.
